This film is edited the way one would chisel a gem. It is a real neo-baroque manifesto. On the one side, we are shown the shimmering light of the river Seine, the sculptures of Alexandre III bridge and the way a mysterious character sweeps down imposing flights of stairs, on the other side, used a counterpoint, shattered mirrors reflect a languid interior, full of works of art, of unusual things tropical vegetation and heavy curtains in the middle of wich the aesthete lies gazing at pictures of male nude.

Collectif Jeune Cinéma

The Collectif Jeune Cinéma (Young Cinema Collective) is a filmmakers’ cooperative founded in Paris on June 12th 1971.

The vocation of the CJC is to distribute different and experimental films of all lengths, gathered in a catalogue that is continuously enriched by new works. This catalogue covers a very wide spectrum of aesthetics and cinematographic practices. For example, it is the only one to include experimental films made by children and young flimmakers (under 18 yo).
