The topic of the film is the portrayal of the spoken word. Only the first shot of the film is soundsynced. Everything that follows is a systematic exploration of what it means to produce speech onscreen. In order to unify that and pinpoint the issues regarding the use of speech, a strong, militant political message was paramount. It is one of the two Maoist groups of Bordeaux - the theorists, non-affiliated to the Communist Party – who offer up their talented contribution to this stylistic exercice.
