During a trip to Bosnia in the summer of 2001, I found archival films in the abandoned museum in the town of Jajce, telling the story of Tito's followers. Until the break-up of Yugoslavia, schoolchildren from all over the country and visitors to the museum in their Sunday best came to see and hear the somewhat stiff tales of veterans in hectic montages. Putting them back together and mixing my own images in, these instructional films sound a strange way in terms of what has happened to this country since.
