“In a world where the sun has stopped setting, the surface of the earth has become an expanse of dry land. The only creatures to have survived the cataclysm are the moles, who have become a prized commodity for human consumption. They are valued, not only for their meat, but also for the opiate quality of their milk.” That was the pitch for an epic film, which never got the funding to go into production. All that's left of the project is a gelatinous three-minute fragment, created from test footage and recordings, experimental material and the desire to bring the project to life, even in modest proportions, before abandoning it and moving on to the next project.
