"Che" is an interjection and a very popular Argentine expression. It is used to get someone's attention without using their name (che kid! or che, come here!) or to emphasize something (che, how expensive!). How long does a che last in a work of art? In a movie? Che is a 16 mm work that lasts 1 frame of an orphan slice of pizza lying on the sidewalk. 1 second of your life, 1 frame that lasts an instant. Che crazy, the Margherita slice! How many che did you eat in your life? A frame that lasts a lifetime, a frame that lasts a whole pizza, a che for life. A film of record proportions... or of infinite portions? This work is an appropriation of the film Hey! (1981) by artist Dean Snider that uses a photograph from the Pizza Of Death series by artist Natalí Albornoz. 6 unique 16 mm prints numbered with hand-scratched titles.
