"I have attempted here to read together the fragments of my life spent last winter and spring..." (Cesare Pavese from "Il mestiere di vivere"). It had called "Frammenti di un anno": an almost daily diary started in winter 2009, which continued until the following spring and left unfinished because it was too much alive and fresh. Then the time has marked this footage: homes that change, daughters growing up, time flowing, photos that come from painful boxes. Thus was born "Attesa di un'estate": first fragment of a life spent. An intimate journey into the impressions, where the film evokes the ghosts of all that we have around. The image between the relic of the past and the expectation of future.
